RASTERS
The Rasters modular furniture collection designed in collaboration with Muller Van Severen for BD Barcelona adapts open structural grid systems into a family of cabinets and paravants that organize space while maintaining visual transparency. Originally conceived for Bottega Veneta’s headquarters in Milan (OFFICE 339), the collection has since expanded into a range of flexible elements suited to both workplace and domestic environments. Each piece is constructed from self-supporting lattice panels of solid steamed beech wood and can be reconfigured using custom-made black polyamide connectors. Structural stability is ensured by added cross braces, doors, drawers, and back panels for cabinets, or various accessories for paravants: rectangular and triangular shelves, square tables, and hanging rails. Available in several colours, these accessories stand out as visual anchors against the wooden structure. The balance of structural rigour and functional logic results in open-ended furniture pieces that enable a multitude of configurations and uses to build up the space.
